I have often wanted to visit France but had no clue which part to head to until I came across a recent article on Provence. Some quick checks on the internet and I was ready to for the big trip. My flight was through the busiest airport in the world but the heathrow airport transfer proved to be quite a smooth one. All the anxiety vanished once I reached Provence that is blessed with beautiful scenery that even the most discerning visitor would find appealing. It has some wonderful coastline dotted with medieval villages that are exactly the same as appears in picture postcards. Nestled among the lavender and olive groves, they seem ethereal in their beauty. And of course, to the north east are the Alps.

I started off with a trip to what is classified as the most beautiful village, called Gourdon. It is set at an altitude of 760 meters and offers some spectacular views. Perhaps this is why it is also known as the ‘Eagle’s Nest’. The Museum of Decorative Arts is a big draw here. In fact, just strolling through the medieval streets that are lined with beautiful old houses was quite exhilarating.

From here, I moved to the south of Provence to take in the beautiful coastline, as well as a trip to the famed Saint-Tropez. Most of the towns and villages that I came across were set a little off the tourist trail and had their own unique charm. Seillans stood out for its history and scenic surroundings. Somehow perfumes seem to be a common denometer in the whole of France and I came across several small shops everywhere I went! Transport was never an issue, neither were decent places difficult to find. My smattering of French helped, though I must admit there were times when I made a fool of myself. But on the whole, it was a great trip and I can’t wait to get back to the places I missed.

Someone truly said that it is difficult not to fall in love with France. The beauty of France can only be explained by someone who has really visited the country. France is a beautiful country with iconic landmarks, world-class architecture, mesmerizing surroundings, Roman temples, breath-taking mountains and much more. There are countless destinations you can visit and several experiences you will gain on your journey through this romantic city. Traveling within France will not burn a hole in your pocket and is fairly affordable regardless of whether you are a millionaire or a lawyer specialized in wrongful birth claim.

In this article I am listing three of my favorite tourist destinations in France.

Eiffel Tower

Lover’s paradise, the Eiffel Tower is the most renowned tourist spot in France. Every year millions of people visit this unique monument and almost every one of them falls in love with this vivid beauty. Whether it is about having lunch at 58 Tour Eiffel or just enjoying the view of the tower in the evening amid twinkling colorful lights, every experience you will have here is unique

Mont St-Michel

This sea tomb has a historical significance and is believed to be a sacred tomb where the souls of the dead where sent. You will feel the magic and the history of this legendry place when you will walk bare-footed through the rippled sand towards this iconic architecture. Visit alone or hang out in groups, you are sure to love this place.

Adrenalin Kick, Chamonix

If you are someone who enjoys speed and adventure, you will never forget your visit to Vallee Blanche. This once in a life time experience will give you the opportunity to piste descent from the top of Aiguille du Midi towards mecca Chamonix. Every moment of the (20 KMs) 5 hour long journey will keep your heart-beat high and still you will crave for more once the journey is over. Although the cost-incurred in the journey is slightly at the higher side with 70 Euros, every penny of the investment is worth the experience.

France is one of the most beautiful places in the world. For centuries, it has been an inspiration to generations of artists, painters, writers, etc. This place has inspired people to think creatively. France is everything that a traveller wants it to be. It is peaceful, charming, relaxing, and rustic. It is home away from home.

One thing to remember before planning a trip to France is to look into travel insurance schemes. You can also consult personal injury lawyers to plan a carefree travel.

We bring you a list of top places that you can see in France.

Paris

One hasn’t seen France if one hasn’t been to Paris. Paris is like a lover’s dream. This place is a paradise for diehard romantics. You can consider proposing to your loved one in view of the Eiffel Tower.

Loire Valley

This place is called the ’Garden of France’. Its natural beauty has won many a heart. The valley is dotted with historic structures. The World Heritage site is one of the most visited places in France.

Mont Saint-Michel
A causeway connects this rocky island to northwest France. The heritage sitting amidst water is known for its Gothic-style abbey. One can also find a little village complete with small souvenir shops and cosy cafes on this island.

Côte d’Azur

Côte d’Azur or French Riviera is considered to be an expensive but serene place. Its vast coastline and clear water attract a lot of tourists. The place has many coastal cities such as Cannes, St-Tropez and Nice. You can check into a comfortable resort at one of these places.

Versailles
Versailles is frequented by tourists throughout the year. The Palace of Versailles that was home to the kings of France holds a special historic value. The well-maintained garden overlooking the palace is also quite a sight.

As a child I was always taken to many areas of France. It was my mother’s favourite country and she was always quite fluent in the language so it was pretty much the place we would go every year. One of my fondest places that we visited was the Dordogne located in the South West. I distinctly remember there being countless lakes and villages that look exactly like they do on the holiday brochures – quite often the photographs of the lakes where airbrushed to look a lot bluer than they do in real life but this was not the case here. It was scorching hot everywhere we went and the resort we stayed at the time had a large number of activities to keep both the adult and children occupied. One day we went on a canoeing and caving trip and I had my first beer in the sun, as my dad’s English wasn’t that great and he ended up ordering two instead of a half pint. It wasn’t quite a luxury safari holidays but everything was bliss and exciting all the same. I discovered my love of boating by taking a dinghy out on the lakes, I’d try and go as often as I could but my parents were adamant I went supervised. I think it has always been these memories that have led me to have such a strong desire to return and explore this beautiful country in my older years. I am a bit of a stickler for nostalgia.

With its stunning hillside vistas and mesmerizing culture, unchanged for literally decades, it’s not surprising that the Champagne region has enjoyed massive commercial success as a place to visit when in Europe. So what can you get up to there, you might ask? Lots is the answer, so read on for a good idea of what to expect and what to plan for.

1) Wander around the vineyards of Epernay and the like, and there are many. There’s nothing quite like seeing where champagne is actually made now, is there?

2) Take a guided tour and hear all about the culture, or do your own research and plan your own custom visit, it’s entirely up to you. The experts are always on hand to advise you too, so if you have any burning questions then now is the time to ask them!

3) Why not visit the champagne houses while you are there? Many of them run tours which allow the tourist more or less full access into where the actual process happens. And even better, as well as learning you get to sample various different kinds of champagne, so by the end of it you’ll be able to impress your friends not only with your history knowledge but your ability to tell different kinds of champagne apart!

4) And you don’t have to contend with just one house. Prefer a rose to conventional bubbly? There’s bound to be a house which specialises in whatever takes your fancy, and in the various shop display windows you’ll also find food to compliment champagne, such as cheese and wonderful special bread.

Similar Posts:
Explore-Indonesia : The Indonesian islands have attracted vast…
Budget Holiday in France : Given the stressful and busy lives…
Brighton : Brighton is surely a must visit place for those who…
Driving on Scotland’s roads : Despite not being a large…

It may be tempting to spend all your time in the Champagne region visiting the caves and sampling the local wares. But if you spend your few days in dark cellars or sleeping over your over-indulgences, then you’ll miss out on all the glorious scenery that the region has to offer.
As you can imagine for an area that is famous for what is essentially an agricultural industry, there are huge areas of countryside, lots of which is uniformly planted with vines (and usually fenced off too) but a lot is still quite wild and unspoilt. You may need a car to explore some of the more remote parts of Champagne, but if you don’t want to spend your holiday behind the wheel, there are plenty of alternative ways to explore.
One of my favourite, and most relaxing, ways to see the scenery is on horseback. You don’t have to be an experienced rider to take part in the organised pony treks that equestrian centres organise, though you should check that you have horse insurance on your travel policy before signing up for anything more adventurous than a gentle walk! A lot of these trips will take you to some of the most beautiful viewpoints in the area, usually involving a steep climb, so it’s nice to let someone else do all the work. Though you’ll be surprised how much you ache after a day in the saddle; your body is working harder then you might think to stay in position and maintain its balance!
Luckily, you’ll have the promise of a picnic lunch once you get to the top, as food is often included in the price. And drink, of course. And what else would you drink at a picnic in the Champagne region but a nice, local bottle of bubbly…

You can also skate around the city as it offers excellent pavement for skating.

If you are planning to visit Paris in the near future, then you should make staying reservations in advance. The city is flocked by a huge crowd of tourists every year. So a delay may make it difficult for you to find a suitable reservation, and you may have to spend your vacation in an ostelli Londra instead of one in Paris.

A new, British addition has been made to the extensive lists of products defined under European Union law as only being able to come from one place. This is a particularly complicated turn of phrase which approximately describes the system under which products are protected from effective forgery. Yet what has now joined champagne and Parma ham?

The humble Cornish pasty has joined not just champagne and Parma ham, but Melton Mowbray pork pies, bundz sheep’s milk cheese, Newcastle brown ale, cheddar cheese, Stilton cheese and a plethora of other wines, cheeses, hams, sausages, olives, beers, vinegars, breads, fruits, meats, and vegetables.

Gorgonzola, Asiago cheese, Champagne and Roquefort can all only come from their respective namesakes. The system is similar to the appellation system which France uses, and which is used by countries throughout the planet.

Arguments have taken place in the British media as to whether or not the ‘c’ of Cornish needs to be capitalised or not when the name is used in the context of Cornish pasty. Champagne is a place name, so by rights should have a capital letter. However, nobody actually talks about a glass of Champagne in real life.

The jury is still out. Just as I’d question a sign reading “Phil and Teds dash”, I’d probably ask myself some questions if I noticed an advert or service station suggesting I purchase a cornish pasty rather than a Cornish pasty. The pasty fraternity is expecting a press release or statement from Ginsters within the next three days.

Yes, not exactly France I know, but I wanted to recant the tale anyway.
Heading for the Sunshine State is my great escape every few years for a couple of weeks of fun in the sun for the Miami or Jacksonville beach scene. Traveling is not all it’s cracked to be when you have to pay for a pricey room with fewer and fewer amenities. The best way to visit the places I like to go is to book a Florida villa and stretch out in a full sized home.

The villas in Florida usually offer a full sized kitchen, private laundry facilities, a backyard and option of multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. The private property is especially useful when traveling with my two dogs. Pets are OK with most Florida villa rentals, however, written permission is stated in the agreement and there is a small and reasonable pet security deposit required.

The state of Florida has villa rental units from top to bottom, often situated in the best parts of the tourist areas. Choose Orlando for a comfortable stay when going to the Disney attractions or opt for the beach units either on the sand or within a short commute to the shores. Some of the Florida hotels are truly spectacular, but unless you plunk down major money for a suite, your slice of paradise is confined to one small hotel room. The villa experience is moderately priced, costing little more than an upscale tourist hotel, and are a snap to book online.

The best part about the Florida villa stays is that so many leasing companies have them. Ergo, the prices remain competitive and extra travel perks may be combined into the villa rate. Add a rental car with some of the top villa providers, and you have one dynamic travel package that gets you where you want to go at the price you want to pay.

Whenever you escape to the sun, sea and sangria there is usually one thing you would love to take with you, your home comforts. To holiday in a place where you call home tends to be one of those things which some would love and others would hate. To some a holiday is only a holiday whereby you do not have to lift a single finger to do any work whatsoever. To others, a holiday tends to be a place where you can relax whilst still retaining your dignity.

In order to bag yourself a holiday home away from home, you may be suggested to look into holiday park homes, which you can put up at many holiday park sites for a small fee. If you would like to invest in a holiday park home, then you may be wise to get yourself a park home insurance in order to protect your assets wherever you are.

You will also need to look into where you would like your home away from home to be. Plenty of holiday parks allow people to buy a holiday home to remain on site, with many allowing dogs on site, after all what it a holiday without man’s best friend

You can buy yourself a static caravan for around £5,000 with prices going up for chalets and holiday homes.

If however you are looking at gaining a holiday home which doesn’t restrict your movement, then investing in a mobile caravan could be worth your while. Just hook it to your car, and away you go. Your destination can be entirely up to you as the open road is ready to take you anywhere
